My little ballerina
I'm going to apologize for the number of pictures right off the bat. Millie just looked so darn cute in her tutu her Aunt Kristin made her (check her shop out here) I couldn't stop taking 'em!
Laughing? Crying? Who knows.
The other day I caught Millie in a crazy mood. One second, laughing. The next second, pouting. Still the cutest little thing ever.

Swimsuit Season
It was beautiful outside on Memorial Day, so John decided it was yard work time. We went and bought some flowers, and decided Millie would wear the swimsuit her Aunt Kristin had given her. She loved it! She spent the afternoon swinging in the shade, chewing on her suit. That took a lot out of her, so she followed it up with a nap. Life is rough.

Millie and Teddy
Nothing very exciting happens in this video, Millie starts talking to her teddy around the minute mark. Oh, and the random talking in the background is Without a Trace, fyi.

Millie found a new favorite toy. She has this teddy that laughs when you squeeze the belly, she loves it!
Back to the Park!
We went back to the park today with Matt, Mindy and Haylee. It was SUCH a beautiful day! The girls loved looking at the flowers, and Haylee was pretty impressed by the fish.

Manito Park
John, Millie and I went to Manito Park this afternoon. We had some lunch and walked around the beautiful Japanese Gardens. Millie loved looking at all the plants, and was amazed at the waterfall. Such a beautiful day!

Morning Conversation

I know, I know. No cute pictures of Millie, no exciting new tricks....but I'm so excited I can't stand it!! I was sure I had shot myself in the foot waiting for 5 months to take my NCLEX (state boards for nursing), but I as of today I am officially an RN! Now I'm just going to have to get myself a job...

Happy Cinco de Mayo!
Who is this pretty little lady you may ask? This is Haylee, our beautiful Goddaughter (after enjoying some brownie dessert). Tonight we went over to Matt and Mindy's for some yummy enchiladas and some good company. Haylee was entertaining us all with some sweet dance moves as always. Thanks Kelly family :)

3 Months Old!
So I know this is late (Millie turned 3 months on April 21st) but I can't believe this lady is already three months old! It seems like we were just counting the days until she'd get here. Millie is learning and growing so quickly-her newest feat is reaching (purposefully) for toys and stickin' them right into her mouth. Oh, and same with blankets, clothes and burp rags--EVERYTHING goes straight into her mouth. She is getting thisclose to laughing, still the squealing and huge smiles. She also is pretty into rolling side to side (hasn't rolled over yet, one thing at a time people). Millie is so amazing, John and I are so thankful to have her.

Who doesn't like a pot pie every once in a while? Well, I wanted one pretty bad, so John agreed to make one for me. He unwrapped one to find it mutilated! So I told him to open another, and whatta know, another poorly constructed pot pie! I was pretty disappointed...so I had John take a picture. PS They still sound good.
