Party Time!

Millie had a great first birthday. She helped me in the kitchen making cupcakes, and had so much fun at her party at Gymboree Play & Music. We were thankful to be able to celebrate with great friends and family. We are such a blessed little family :)

One year ago (yesterday--hey, I was busy celebrating) John and I met the love of our lives. Millicent McCay was born and completely changed everything about our lives. She makes us happier than we could have ever imagined, and we are extremely blessed to have her in our lives. So I share with you the moment I met her (well, outside of my belly anyway). This, my friends, was where it all changed.

Millie just loves her sparkle shoes. So much so, in fact, that she likes to go to bed with them. Whatever makes our little lady happy :)

Welcome 2010

Millie decided that even though midnight was way past her bedtime, she should still be able to welcome 2010 in style.....so from our little family to yours, HAPPY NEW YEAR. Hopefully 2010 brings great things. It's hard to believe that this time last year John and I were anxiously awaiting Millie's arrival, and now couldn't imagine life without her. We truly are blessed to have such an amazing little family.

P.S. While it may be a little irresponsible to let Millie play with the champagne bottle rest assured that's where her party began and ended :) Because OBVIOUSLY.
