Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! I have finally woken up from my post-turkey nap, and thought I'd send some holiday cheer around. John and I were all by our lonesome this Thanksgiving, but it was actually pretty fun. We cooked dinner together (Millie LOVED it by the way) and are just relaxing and waiting for the Gonzaga game to start. We both have a lot to be thankful for this year-Millie's coming soon and the pregnancy has been going smoothly, we have a new niece and nephew who are both happy and healthy and beautiful. We have great family and friends-what more could you ask for?

30 weeks 6 days

I had another Ultrasound/Dr. appointment today, and everything looks great! The picture is kind of hard to decipher, but it's looking directly at Millie's face. Her mouth is open (she was opening and closing it like crazy, and practicing breathing--all good stuff) The U/S tech couldn't get a good profile shot, she's head down and her hands are right up next to her face (you can see her right hand next to her head). The Dr. said everything is on track, she already weighs 4lbs! (Which seems HUGE to me, but it's right around the 50th percentile for growth) The tech also said she could see some fuzz, so it looks like Millie already has some hair :) I've been feeling fine, just tired and busy busy.

Other than baby stuff, graduation countdown is in full swing. 23 days and counting!

Millie makes three!

As most of you know, John and I are expecting a big addition in January, a baby girl, Millicent Dobyns! I thought that this would be a great way to keep everyone updated up until and after she makes her grand entrance. As most of you also know John and I keep pretty busy with John working for Avista, and myself finishing up nursing school and, well, growing a baby. As of today we are 30 and 4 (making us closer to 31 weeks...hey, every day counts!). Everything is going wonderfully. Millie's room is shaping up quite nicely due to all Johns hard work. We have been lucky to have had four ultrasounds so far, and have another on Wednesday. It's been amazing seeing our little girl grow. The picture above is from our last ultrasound, at 22 weeks. Hopefully I can keep this updated, so check back!
