Strawberries at Greenbluff

Today Millie and I went strawberry picking with some girls from work and their kiddos. We had so much fun! Millie didn't do much PICKING per say. Millie was much better at batting her eyelashes at everyone (yes, especially you Lira) and hoping they would hand one over. She then would take one bite out of the strawberry and return it to the aforementioned givers basket. We can't wait to go back.

Visiting Daddy

John has been working out of town in Sandpoint for the last few weeks, so Millie and I head up there to visit when we can during the week. Last week the weather was BEAUTIFUL so after dinner we stopped by City Beach before heading back to the hotel. The water was cold, but that didn't stop Millie and John from going in.

This morning we went to cheer on Mindy and Sheri--they were competing in their second mini-triathalon! They both swam 1/3 mile, biked for 12 miles and topped it off with a 3 mile run. Mindy and Sheri did GREAT, we're so proud of them!! (By the way, could you tell they are mom and daughter?)

My mom bought these ballerina slippers for Millie before she was even born. I remember looking at them and thinking there's NO way MY baby girl was getting that big. Today we tried them on. They fit.

Yesterday we spent the 4th with some great friends BBQing, trikin', slidin' and playing in the sand. We were having a wonderful time until I had to leave for work :( Millie didn't make it to the fireworks, but we still had a great 4th of July. God Bless America and all the amazing service men and women who fight to keep our country free!
