Happy Birthday to my big 2 year old. Your dad and I are amazed everyday by how smart and loving and beautiful you are. You have no idea how much you mean to us, how much you teach us, and how many lives you've touched in your two years. We treasure every giggle, every "one more kiss" at bedtime, every snuggle...everything. You are an amazing little girl, and we love every minute we have with you. Happy Birthday big girl.

Party Time!

Yesterday we had Millie's 2nd birthday party at Jump and Bounce. We had a great turnout, and everyone had a great time! Millie received lots of fun new toys, and was so tuckered out she was asleep before we pulled out of the parking lot. Thanks to everyone who came and played with us!

What a way to start the year...

Last night I had to work, so we weren't able to celebrate at midnight. I was a little disappointed, but when your a nurse and work nights it happens. When I got home this morning, however, I saw that at our house it was 2 minutes to midnight. John had TiVo'd the ball drop and had it all set up complete with sparking apple cider and party favors (oh...and the crowns/hats). What an incredible guy. Looks like I got my New Year's kiss after all!

Our family has had quite a 2010, and are looking forward to an amazing 2011. We are blessed to not only have a daughter that makes every day better, but now look forward to another addition come April. To all of our family and friends we wish nothing but the best in the coming year. HAPPY 2011!!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! We started our Christmas a couple days ago in Seattle with family, and drove home yesterday. We woke up bright and early this morning--thanks to Millie. She had great time opening her gifts, and had to stop to play with everything. Millie was in dress up and doll heaven, I think she's been at least 4 different princesses/fairies this morning alone! We are thankful for all that we have, especially our beautiful little girl and our little bean cookin'. Now off to enjoy the delicious smelling waffles John's making us! YUMM.
