Happy 4th of July!

This 4th of July was HOT HOT HOT and FUN!   We had friends come to watch the parade with us, then had more friends over to celebrate with a BBQ and our block party.  The kiddos loved the fireworks and were such troopers with the hot weather.  Can't wait until next year!

Championships and Triathlons!

This was quite the weekend for the Dobyns family.  Not only did John's softball team win their leauge AND their tournament, I finished my first triathlon!  Given mine was just a sprint tri, but it felt pretty amazing crossing that finish line!

Last night Millie had her very first gymnastics class.  She did so great!  She loved watching all the other kiddos and looked pretty darn cute in her leo (thanks Auntie Kristin!)  She can't wait to go back next week :)

Camping!

This weekend we went camping at Hunters Campground in Hunters, WA.  There was a pretty large group of us with a VERY large group of kiddos--and we had an amazing time!  We saw lots of rain but got enough sun that the kiddos got to splash around a bit.  We can't wait to go back next year!

This weekend we made the long drive to Boise to visit family.  We had such a great time, and actually had the whole Wikum side of the family together for the first time in years.  It was great to see everyone, and to spend some time catching up.  It's always hard to leave family, but we hope to see everyone again SOON.
